    Hi guys,

If you have had body and paint done in the last 5 years by a shop in the Milwaukee to Madison (Wis.) area, please post your feedback.

I need to get my '62 GP into paint but I want it to be local and I want a referral.

I am especially interested in hearing from people who have had a long car done (doing body and paint with straight results differs a lot between a curvy '40 Ford and a slab-sided '62 full size Pontiac!).

    Your help means a lot...

Rich's auto body in Cudahy Wi. Zeke owns and runs it, does great work on HotRods and Classics. 414-483-5050

  3. Let us know how much is the estimate to have the work done.

...Some people believe, with all the time spent doing bodywork, it will cost no more than $1500.00.

    Any additional ideas?

I can't be the only Brew-City type looking for this info...

    Please advise.

I had my ranchero done by a friend who has his own business, we were able to barter some, and I helped with the block sanding. He doesn't like doing old cars and rust repair, it seems the money is in crash repairs on newer stuff. Bolt on panels, fix the lines and paint. Mark

    Thanks as per usual, guys.

This is Milwaukee, folks, not Edinburg, Texas (not that there's anything wrong with that) ... there have to be more competent, reference-based shops in the area.

    What cha got?

Digging up an old thread, but any of you guys in the area care to PM me?

I have a '40 Ford pickup. Been in the family since 1940. Tearing it down now, but need to have body work and paint done and would like to do locally. I'm in Germantown, WI.

    I'll post more details later.

    Thanks!
