That first photo is the reason why more people don't mix the tri fives..now the one Bob posted is a reason why not give it a try. HRP
A friend and I built this back in the late 70's for an old high school buddy of mine, originally painted green. Later, he sold it back to me, and I put some of my own touches on it. Back then, we used what was available, and we could not find a 56 nose at the time, but I think we pulled off a good looking car! Sold it to a guy up North Jersey back in 82-3.
I saw one of those ^^^ in Florida when I was a teenager. The difference was the owner just slapped on the '55 front clip and drove it. The body trim wasn't the only thing that didn't match.
