Tell us more about the bendix conversion. So you fitted F100 type internals into early backing plates? Do they still adjust as original? I see you still have to cut a slot for the lower adjusting wheel. Looks like a neat job.

Awesome looking build - great inspiration though the wheels will have a bit impact (not in a bad way, just different)
    Looking forward to updates
    Cheers.

That's going to be a killer roadster! It almost hides the ardun 3 window in the back ground, any more pics of that for us model 40 guys?

I also did the bendix conversion on my new roadster. I can lock up all four wheels easily. I've used So Cal fake brakes in the past, these are every bit as good, but a lot cheaper.

Looks good. I'm glad I'm not the only one doing a late 40s style build.

Looks great. I like the period you chose to build the roadster. The components on the chassis are right on the money. Have a successful open house.

    FWIW Love the look.

Stock perches and original shocks, all period correct.

To build a 28/29 on 32 frame like this, (which by the way, I like better than a pinched frame) how much do you have to chop the grill, shell and the radiator?

I would love em ,,,but the logistics would out price them, they are thin on the ground here too,,,,,did the Aussie tourer sell?,,,not that i need another one but that car when in Australia inspired me to want one,,which i have had since '77,,

Yes I need them , the logistics don't bother me if the price is affordable. I have a bent right hand stub axle and to date haven't been able to find a replacement here.

    cheers

I know you are selling the car but can you tell me what brake/clutch pedals you were using in the pictures?

I sent off a set of 34' pedals to Industrial Chassis and he made them into what you see. Did a great job!
