A Good Day....Old Iron! NOW WITH PICS!!!!

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by brett4christ, Aug 19, 2013.

  1. Yesterday was a good day as my pal Russell (ssrs71) invited me to stroll through some old iron recently made available. The owner was notified by the authorities that he has until the end of September to clean out!

Please don't make this an "anti-establishment" bash/rant! Won't do anyone any good!

So most is for sale, but most have NO title. Prices are on the upper end of reasonable, some less, some more. If you have questions, I'll try to find out what I can, when I can, from the owner. BE PATIENT!

    Now, for what's there......

How does a rusty 1936 Ford make it this far with out any bullet holes ?

UPS working hard to find the Day Light order address, before it can get to the ammo order?
Perhaps ammo on another truck? Har! Har!

  10. And now some parts.....

Sorry your unorthodox way of loading threads by posting ghost pics and then throwing them up later threw me through a loop.

No motor no trans No title.....got that. How about doors? Are those anywhere? IT's basically a body shell with some fenders since that grille is garbage as well as the hood but for 6k that's not a bad price for a 3w shell and some fenders. I know a guy who might be able to supply a floor. Haha!!

  20. I'll check on the doors. As for the floor, is that one in my "parts" pics?

  21. Is this in NC?

  22. Sure it is! It's about an hour from the house!

If one could eliminate the rust entirely the owner would be a millionaire!

Nice pics Brett, hopefully some of these get saved.......I think that 3 window with doors and donor floor is a good buy at $6k.

  25. You guys can wet yourselves over the 3wd.....

Excellent Stuff and great pictures. I am happy this owner was able to preserve these gems from WWII scrap metal drives, etc. But, then many were still being used as "tankers" running back roads of the East mountains moving the shine.
I'd take that '53 Buford first pick any day !

  28. Would like to know more about this one.
