40 std coupe coming along--should be cruzin with it by week after next. Drake boards---I have installed 6-8 sets and they fit pretty well except at vertical portion near front fender--fit fender tight but at bottom they are always out about 1/8 to 1/4--always have to "massage" this area-did this one today-any one else?? Will have Briarwood brn wheels (dash color) with tan striping and WW

Color is 40 Folkstone grey with just a hint of tan. Weasel-THX--hope to go look at another coupe in a week or two--know of three decent projects--may snag one-need something to keep me occupied in retirement-wife says I have to store it til either this one or something else goes away--can store projects at the farm/vinyards where my friend is the vineyard manager. Have to go do a little work (wiring) on his 9.60 car so storage is no issue.
    Murph--how is yours coming along.

Always missing some holes too--I have had to tweak every set I've done at the front and drill the holes you mention--I tweak them using a 2X4, and towel on the outer edge with a big C clamp and just strong arm them a bit after they are mounted.

  23. Tim,

Haven't seen it for a couple of weeks. We are ready to order the paint...Folkstone as well! Body, doors, decklid will be done very soon. Then the rest of the body parts....Found a right rear fender...hope its a good one...looks to be.

I'm starting on the frame and components when I get back from my trip to Arizona next month....Have all the makings, just have to get busy!
