    Here's one of mine. Top deck is upholstered with the fuel fill coming up through it.

    Here is mine. Its a quick change /Jag setup. The plate is mounted right to the frame with a bracket I made.

    Judging by the rest of the build, I'm guessing it's an older Cal Custom or equivalent. None of the brackets or frame components are purchased, all fabbed (some more crudely than others). I compared it to a buddy of mine's Cal Custom T and it's identical. The fiberglass is like 1/4" thick in most places.

    few more, including a rear shot of the Novel T, & Rickels injected buick cover car...You know the Car Craft feature on your favorite includes a low rear shot, right?

  16. I have an opening tailgate on mine which explains the two cam locks at each top corner. I used small hidden hinges at the bottom and this allows me to access the fuel filler and also a wee bit of storage space. I don't like our large plates either but we have to have them. My plate is tucked down under the bed.

    Here's mine from behind. It's a Total Performance body which had the "Total" script in place of the "Ford" script, so hence why the license plate is in the center. The taillights are just clamped on so I could get an idea of where they look best- still haven't decided. I like the 1932 brackets with A lights someone posted earlier- that looks really cool.

    You know Chuck I look at this and find fault. The shocks are too strait up. They need to be moved in at the top and it will be pretty easy to do. I've been wanting to do it for a long time and will before next season.

    Both the bottom two photos are Ted Browns T, famed gasser (Not "gasser") chassis builder. Bottom one is with the weberized rat motor, Ted told me that combo was certifiably crazy. I think he's actually on here, although he doesnt lurk much, hes more of a facebook regular. Yet another incarnation. Ted changed the car frequently.

    I meant to work this rear shot of Brizios car in with the others, but it got missed. The lanterns are starting to grow on me a little. Sure seems to be the popular choice...

    Is that due to them being used with a T Spring? I've read that shock manufacturer's recommend only a slight angle, no less than 30 degrees, with straight up probably being ideal. The less angle, the better a shock works. Mine are at about 80 degrees, almost straight up. They work fantastic.

    Yea, the cut off can suck, but it's a very good example of a Fad T and a nice looking car. My taste changed over the years, but I started out falling in love with Fad T's.

    Brizio's Instant "T" stuff was real big from about '69-'72. So some where in there would be a good guess. I'd probably say '71...

    You know Fred a lot of it is just "the look" and I read somewhere that at an angle they would serve as a sway bar. But really I am just after a look. The back of my roadster doesn't move much anyway.
