Impulse buy! Now tell me… What the hell is it?

Went on a Craigslist vehicle purchase venture today (other than the one pictured) that turned into a pick. Saw this jalopy and something inside told me to pounce. All I know about is it's a Ford Herman St Louis milk truck. Has been modified over the years (RV style with windows, stove, etc), but not too far gone to make usable. VIN starts with P3HIHM. I don't know the year or anything else about it... yet. Not sure I'll keep it, but figured it would make a cool swap meet truck for local events if I do hold onto it.

 

Looks like a UPS style step van, Ford Style. 1950s?

Bet you're correct. '56 P35. It's a smaller one. About 8 foot long cargo space behind the driver. Looking forward to getting it in the shop.
