I'll start this week off. Lets see all of the creative filter uses.

 

Come on! I know you guys can use filters, let see 'em!

 

What the heck, it's pouring rain here, it's early, why not play along.
Used the warming filter, grain, gaussian blur, sharpening and a couple other lil sumpt'n-sumpt'n's

 

I'm liking the colors!

 

I know there is more of you out there!

 

If you don't have stuff for this week, have it ready for next week!

 

why isnt this in the regular FAS?

 

The FAS is for artwork. This stuff can be interesting, but it's not art.

 

it might just be me but i disagree. i cannot do what you have done above. i would consider it art.

 

All you need is Photoshop and a finger to push a button.

 

You don't really even need Photoshop to play this game, just a PC w/ Microsoft Word 2010. Picture filters just like the basic Photoshop filters. This has the potential to be a cool thread if folks have taken some cool pictures.


Step 1: Grab an interesting pic. Here's a pic I took of one of the Beatniks cars at LSR this year.



Step 2: Open MS Word 2010 edition (maybe other editions have it to or you can use Google Plus/Instagram too has same filters)



Step 3: Copy Changed Picture and open Microsoft Paint and Paste it, then save to computer as a JPEG/PNG



Easy stuff and make for cool artwork to use on all sorts of stuff: Cruise-In Fliers, Shows, Garage Art... practice with OT cars then use as toilet paper.

Good luck with the thread, hope folks won't let not having photoshop keep them from participating and being creative.

This one I used Instagram vintage and a bunch other filters they offer for saturation, hue, warming. I'm sure instagrams peeved some photographers with how easy it makes creating cool artistic shots.



A shot of a buddy of mines "T", taken at a show last year.



Just using Microsoft Word again. Not a big use of filters just, in my opinion at least, a nice warming and boost of temperature and saturation.
