Sweet ride! I'm building a 30 roadster on 32 rails as well... and I live in NC too.

Where did you get the windshield parts?? Is that a chopped deluxe, I'm having a hard time finding chopped deluxe upper sanctions, let me know if you don't mind. This thing looks very cool.
    thanks!

Actually I just crudely cut down some stock deluxe versions of the windshield posts I found on Ebay. Sorry I dont have a better photo of them.

Studebakermatt - If you are near Charlotte let me know and you can see it in person. We can compare notes.

Just saw your thread. I'm up in Winston and am just starting gathering parts for a 30/31 roadster/coupester build. I love the thought process behind your car. Hope to see your car in person in the near future.

Keep the pictures coming, it's a great inspiration!!

    That's an awesome looking car!

  11. i really like the idea of the roadster length doors with the sport coupe quarters. are you planning to do anything to change the upper beadline in the quarters to make it flow with the lines on the door and cowl?

Sorry for the delay. I hammered out the crease in the quarters to match the door belt line. Will post pics today

coupster 010.jpg Looks good. Nice work. What do you do about water getting into your trunk with louvers? I have a similar one.

After a long delay (life gets in the way) here is the latest update. The car is in paint, sitting on the frame, and just needs 2016-01-14 14.49.57.jpg 2016-01-17 20.33.31.jpg to be wired. Here are the photos:
