Alright,.... Lets try this,.... How many young guys are looking for projects ?...... And how many do you have stacked up ?

In fact, lets post up how old we are and how many projects we have squirreled away....

62 This Week,..... And we'll call it "over 10"

So lets use this to simplify things

Wife has declared no more projects. In reality she is afraid of ending up with a pile of what she thinks is junk that she'd have to get rid of since I'm kind of "on the clock".

Closing in on 81, still like to run thru the gears, then put the cover back on---Ha!!!
Good to see all the youngsters staying focused on the old iron, even tho they are on tight budgets.
Yep!----Greybeards can always give some good advice, even in the twilight era----Don:D

Limping my way toward 66. Most of our crowd are in their 60s with some younger blood thrown in.

  15. 63 and currently have only one project that has been in the barn for way too many years but I have yet to pull it out and start on it.

I still have several things to do to the sedan so it will be a while before the next project. HRP

I am 30 years young and wish that I was 16 years old back in 1950 so i could have lived the real hot rod era. So I say thanks to all you OLD gear heads for paving the way for the young guns

Currently I'm 23 and building my first ground up but I wouldn't call myself completely traditional as I enjoy a good amount of variety and can appreciate a car for what it is. However, I would much rather look at a traditional rod before a chromed out street rod any day of the week! Only have a handful of buddies same age as me that are interested in hot rodding that I hang out with. Also i have a few older friends that vary from mid 30's to the 70's who have been hot rodding their whole life. I strike up conversations with them as much as possible. Most of my friends i see often don't know what a carburetor looks like

  18. 35, been working on old iron since my 20s.

    3 kids + 1 wife + 1 income = I'm blessed to have one project.

  19. I'm 38, have 1 driver and 1 project in the works.

My father got me my first car (55 Chevy) when I was 9 years old. It's now my driver...
My oldest son is 11. So the next project, will be his first...

53/6 Took me 20 years to finish the first full build. But i never sacrificed my two daughters upbringing for my hot rod. I now have two grandsons that are both car nuts at 1 and 2 years of age. Hot wheels everywhere. Maybe each of them will get to work on one of the 6 projects that await in the back 40.

68 here and getting gears back in my head since I started kids in the 70s -80s. I had a number of projects during that time but never completed any because of soccer games, baseball games, softball games, soccer games, basket ball games, grade school, high school and college tuitions (private schools). Money was dern near non existent during that period much less time.
I'm in great shape, better then average healthy 68 yr old......but what the hell does that mean when your 68?! :D;)
