Man I love that feeling when something you built from the ground up makes the first lurch of movement on it's own power. There is a very small percentage of people in the world that have achieved this.

Keep it up that car is bitchin!

Thanks Guys, Feels like Im 20 again after the test drive =)
Spendt yesterday bleeding the brakes and also bleeding the cooling system to.
When we had the first drive the brakes sucked big time and the cooling water boiled.

Took it out again and the brakes were stunning, felt like a brand new car =) and the cooling issue was gone to.

Next step will be getting it ready for the tech inspect and get it street legal with a ok registration.

After that some more longer test driving and then it goes to the paint shop .

Now it sounds even better ;)

Glad you guys like it , working hard getting it done for the inspection. I even have to mount fenders on the car:(
After the inspect they will be removed.

My friend Ulf shot this pic during monday evening. Some guys paying a visit with there rods while I working outside the shop adjusting the rearend between the test drive's .

Borrowed another set of wheels until I get my own back from the cnc guy.
    16-5.5 and 17-7.5 Exelsior.

Me adjusting the plastic rearfender with the grinder to clear the tall tire.

To get a licens plate and a title in Sweden the car needs to pass 3 inspections.
1st is a chassis check, 2'nd is a test drive by guy from the car builders organisation and the final one is a registration check.

Last one is set to be made on monday, hope it works without problems.

The car is now ready for the final inspect. Checked the weight today.
With 260 hp the car has to weight at least 2690 pounds to pass.

I am extremly proud of my friend Jonnie Lindberg , he became a World Record Holder this last weekend with the fastest top speed ever in his Top Alcohol Funny Car.

He brought the scale today and he couldn't resist a testdrive in the coupe :)

It was 2577 so I need another 113 pound. A full gastank and some weights in the trunk will do it :)
