Anyone know if it's possible to spray "just the grill bars" on something like a 32/34 truck grill so that the rest of the shell could be painted body color? The type like a 32 shell but with the stamped grill bars rather than an insert like this one.

I think a lot of the key here is the final use.

Daily driver that is parked outside in the elements year round... Or a toy driven a few hours on a sunny Saturday once a week...

    Will stay tuned for updates!

M.Edell, Well it's been three years now, just wondering how is the grill holding up?
Are you on the road now or still in the building stage?
    thanks

I got quoted $900 for two small hood emblems on my F100. Paul's Chrome. Must be for gold chainers only.... I told them to go to hell.

That is for sure not what I was hoping to hear, Could you please be a little more specific. I am in the process of building a 55 caddy, Sh*t pot load of chrome. Not a show car, but I don't want crap either:(

We have a local shop doing it.. He won't do grills or bumpers but says he has good luck with interior trim, parts..

Bumpers and such won't take the abuse .. Getting ready to give him a try and the interior windshield trim.

I just want to know if it held up (looking like real chrome) or turned to yellow looking shit. I could put up with the normal ware and tare of normal driving, but not going to shit sitting in the garage.
I don't mean to look like I am low budget, it's just that I don't have any fucking money

Would this stuff be recommended for interior items....Dash, garnish moldings, interior light trim (dome lights and stuff)?

It was holding up quite well actually, my only concern was that it was going to start to chip..

I have NOT used this product, nor am I defending it. BUT, I know that I would have used a 2K clear as the final touch and put on perhaps at least 7 coats of it.
I think it would have lasted.
    Just a thought.
