    The white car above was built by "Bean Bandit" Juajuin Arnett and sold to Andy Granetelli.

    Love the car of the original post. The blend and balance of "rod" and "custom" looks just right to me. IMHO I think some of the best rod/custom blends were done during the same time period as this car. From the proportioning to the paint and right on into the interior, this car is spot on to me. I wouldn't change a thing. I'm not the first to ask, but is this car still around?

    The original builder of this car still lives in San Diego. The car ran a Dago Axle that I was able to purchase from him last year. He has bought the car back. I believe HRTH was right, it was run as a dark brown or maroon back in the 80's
