Event Coverage Old Cow Palace photo

I took this pic at the 47th in Oakland from the upper seats

 

When I read the heading I was expecting a picture from the 50's or 60's. When I seen "47th" I thought "I was there"... I'm not old!! Well,.. I think I'm a couple of years younger than you. Thanks for the memories.

 

Must have been a hell of a good camera to get that shot all the way over from Oakland.

When I was living in the Bay Area (Burlingame), I attended a lot of events at the Cow Palace. First saw Jack LaLane in the 50's and was brought on stage as he lifted me up over his head with one hand.
I also went to many HotRod Shows, Flea Markets and concerts. Since I have not been to the Bay Area in about 10 years, is it still there?
