Got it lowered!. Cut a coil and a half off the front dropped it 2 5/8". Made 4 inch blocks for the back and new u bolts and dropped it 4 3/8". I'm thinking I'll either bring the back up a 1/2", or continue down with the front another 1/2". I'll probably do the aerostar coils in the future. Wheels and WWW next!

If you have just done this, expect the front to drop a bit more as the springs settle in.

That would work out great. I want just a touch more rake.

Do you live around McEwen? That looks like a Ranchero I saw there.

Kool, I need to do that to mine but some dickmeat in the 70's put huge big block springs in the front and I can't get them out unless I can talk some other dickmeat into cutting them while they're in the car so I can get them out safely. I don't trust that shit.

    Nope Clarksville

Thanks I call it bondo and rust haha. Everything below kneecap height needs replaced it seems.

Mine were a B1tich to get out. Mainly due to old hardware that hadn't been apart in years. I took over 4 hours to get the rear u-bolts out. I probably should have just cut them, but I like to save parts if I can. Luckily they are all still usuable.

Wrap big chain through them a couple of times. Bolt-n-nut it together, use floor jack to slowly lower the lower A-arm.

Have had ball joints loose and a-arm completly swung down a few times and still can't get pressure off of the springs. They are ridiculous.

I had to slide a pipe behind mine to pop them out. They get hung up on the lower mount.

I would go to a 3" lowering block in rear. did you replace the front shocks with shorter ones? Rancheros, even with some rust are Cool.
