Thanks 49ratfink That's interesting I didn't know that, but I wouldn't drive with the tail gate down, but it's good to know if you did at least the traffic to your rear can see your stop lights. Thanks
RE: "...You have some terrific old iron!..." ...He said they were internet pictures). That green early 1949 wood-bodies one, someone had for sale at woodiesUSA in AZ a couple of years ago. I remember it - looked like an amazing unrestored car. Anyone know who bought it? ======
When I was building my 50 Holiday Hardtop Coupe I purchased some parts from Ed. Call you hook me up with a numner or e-mail address to contact him about a tin woody??? Thanks, Marty 88MYWY
I just joined the 1950 oldsmobile woodie wagon club. Bought one at auction today. its rough, not gonna lie, but the price was right. Anyone have detailed pictures of the wood sides outside and inside and the headliner. Not sure what will happen to mine, if it will be parted out or restored...it is on the brink. It is futuramatic 88, but not sure if it is the wagon or deluxe wagon. how do you tell?
the deluxe has the beltline trim that runs to the rear quarter and, i believe has the 49 rear fenders. someone please correct me if i'm wrong. this is a pic of my standard.
