VERY nice!!! A buddy of mine has almost the identical car only with a SBC and upgraded drive train. Very cool cars though! I love the body lines on them. You've got the traditional "40 four coupe" style look but with some much better body lines.

Very nice, and I wouldn't mind seeing a better shot of the '61 garage mate too.

Very nice. I've got a '38 DeLuxe that is much the same shape with a dash more "patina":). It's Harrison's old ride. I finally got it changed to hydraulic brakes with a swap to '40 front spindles and brakes and a complete '40 rearend with a 3.54 gear. much better not having to pray coming up to an intersection.

Fuel Pump here on the HAMB bought the car from Harrison. It would stop running without warning and refuse to restart until it sat and cooled down to almost outside temperature. It quit in my driveway when he stopped by and was so frustrated he said he was going to sell it. I had 2 '32 5w's and I traded the worst body and a frame I just built even up for the '38. It sat in my driveway for a couple of weeks and I finally decided to check what was wrong. Long story short I fixed it for less than $10 and have been driving it ever since. It will get a 283 (already bored to 301) with a 098 Duntov cam and '58 Corvette 4bbl intake and carb, dual exhaust and a '39 syncromesh trans so I can forget double clutching to change gears. I've got all the parts and maybe next winter I'll do the swap.

Thanks for all the complements everyone.

I re-arched the front main leaf and took out 4-leafs and will add a Chassis Engineering 4" drop axle. Will do the same on the main leaf in the rear and ad a set of 3:54 gears.

If your asking about the before shot of the 61' Bel Air I think that is called life on the road.

Ahhh, thanks for the fix 421. Beautiful Belair ya got there. Always preferred the subdued side trim of the Belair compared to the Impala. Very nice rides you've got there, thanks for posting!

Re-arched my main leaf and left a few leaves on the shop floor. Going to send my axle down to Greg Haynes Anson Dropped Axles this winter but for now I had to get a little better stance. Got my hitch on and my 35' Kozy-Kamp ready for Oyster fest next month. Also cut and rubbed the twenty five your old paint. It had never been cut so it made a huge improvement.
