Iv'e screached past threads, but could not find any info on what to do after the pans are replaced.

I'm getting ready to replace one of the floor sections in my 1954 Chevy, my questions is after it's installed what do i use for primer on the interior and under the car?

Can i use rattle can primer/paint until i discide to do all the paint and body.

  2. Most folks will use a seam sealer then primer. I do not know about CA but we have the paint jobber put real primer in rattlecans. SEM makes a good etching primer otherwise in cans.

some paints dont stick real well to the seam sealer, i like to use POR15 then color matched seam sealer over that. As Tman mentioned SEM has some great products.
