drum brakes do I need #10 residule valves

    2 psi residual valves are used with disc brakes for the reason you stated above.

    10 psi residuals are used on drum brakes, regardless of master cylinder location, to keep tension on the cup seals inside the wheel cylinder. Without the residual valve the seal relaxes and allows air into the system.

    CK your brake pedal geometry.Sounds like you need more travel at the pushrod.I have ran into this problem more than once.:D

    Found the problem, got the correct master cylinder with 1" bore and checked power booster. The booster was not working, so installed NEW booster and NEW master cylinder-- set-up rod lenghth--works GREAT-- stops on a dime-- Thanks for all you great help---
