This thing is awesome. It takes guts to do something off the chain like this, but I really dig when someone thinks outside the box. Personally, I wouldn't have done anything differently.
Look forward to seeing it in paint!

I love the idea of these types of cars! Take a clapped-out fifties whatever and transform it into a rod with some style!

Hmmmmm.... Let's see, I've got a couple of sets of Jag ISs laying around, a low-miles 460/C6 in a motorhome that's slowly going to pot and in good shape is worth about the same as the motor, all I need is some square-tube, my trusty welder, and the right candidate for the body hack... A '59 Ford would be interesting.....

 

Really awesome work guys. Please keep posting so we can see the whole thing through. Had a scare when Robleticia reported it being sold, but you're almost there. The work looks really smooth and though part of it was done in your garage, I'm totally envious of your shop. Thanks for sharing the Belv with us.
