We want to thank everyone that came out to the Drags yesterday. We had just over 200 cars go through tech. We kept the pits to a Pre-65 Hot Rods, Kustoms and race cars it worked well. We places others in a separate show area.

We will get some pictures posted up today. Again thank you to all that came from near and far.

We look forward to seeing you all soon again.

WOW!!! That was the most fun you can have with your clothes on! The best $20 I have ever spent! I want to thank all the Road Kings for the awesome show. I had a great time. I ran my roadster down the strip 12 times trying to break into the 7's. It just wouldn't hook. The very last time I ran 7.95 seconds @92.38 mph.
Warning: You have to beware attending this show though. You can easily become addicted to speed. Last year I had a stock 350. Ran 8.60. As soon as I got home from the Hill I started thinking about a bigger motor for the next year. That cost me about $5K. This year my 60 foot times were severely lacking (2.0-2.1). So next year a set of gears and slicks are in order. Only $4-500. So better this year. Looking for low 7's. Can't hardly wait for the next Battle at the Hill, a whole year away, damn.
Thanks again to all the Road Kings. It was a BLAST.

Man what a great day at the "Hill." Ran the rail and had trans trouble every pass, breaks wouldn't hold it at staging so no times. Wife ran her truck all day, and even had a few guys call her out to run. Did anybody there get pictures of the Chemical City Coupe making a pass with Joe Kerrs Coupe, they ran before I could get up to the line for a pic would like to have a copy of the pic.

  11. .

I'd love to get a pic of me and Jo Kerr lined up too. Someones gotta have one!

I wish I could have hung out longer but I had a five hour drive home and had to boogie.

Great event and some really cool cars!

Who owns that grey roadster with the cockpit cover?

  20. .

Willy Trump owns the gray roadster. He is "good people". I look forward to seeing every time I'm in Indy.

    He is not a hamb'r.

Jo Kerr built that car too.

I must be a little slow because I never heard of Jo Kerr until this post but while reading an old copy of "Street Rodder" (I think) this morning I ran across the name again. WOW! That guy builds some great cars!
I wonder what color that roadster is? It looks like the same grey as my 57 F100 and I would love to know.

Had a great time there and definatly plan on going next year. The best part of the whole trip was getting to my custom when I had no plans of it. I'm going to come prepared next year.

  23. Trust me, you'll be hearing a lot more of Jo Kerr in the future. Jo's own Model A was in featured in Street Rodder about two years ago. The Gray roadster was a Street Rodder Top 100 pic and a feature car last year. My deuce, The Chemical City Coupe, is a Street Rodder Top 100 pic for 2013 and will be featured in an upcoming issue very soon. JoKerr Fabrication also built a little modified that was just chosen a Top 100 for 2013 as well.

I hate to sound like a commercial, but Jo is not the type to toot his own horn. As a very satisfied customer, I have no problem tooting it for him.

The man has mad skills and is the one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.
