Me Too! Sold the motor out of my car though so now I gotta decide whether to thrash and build another one and put it back together since the car has a deal pending on it to go back to the guy I bought it from....A lot of work for one race, might just come enjoy the party!

Got my packet today too. Im trying to figure out how to put tools, cooler, a few clothes, a wife, a 4yr old, and a 5month old in a model a tudor. I have a week and a half to figure it out. See you there.

You'll get'em all in. We get me, my wife, an 11,8 and 5 year old in our '29. That's without any luggage though. But we don't do it for long trips like the HAMB drags. We'll go a couple hours away.

Rear end housing in, new brake lines bent and installed, throw the center section and axles in tonight! Bleed the brakes, and install some fluid in the rear, then onto the front brakes

However, this year, it's a brand new ball game! Well....kinda. Here's what we're bringing this time. Different car, but same style, only should be MUCH faster. Don't know yet. We're taking it out tomorrow night for its first time out, so barring any major explosions, crashes or breakage....

9" is in, and the brakes are blend, now onto the front brakes! Gotta get the tires switched to the merc wheels, and get the driveshaft shortened a tad and a new u joint in

 

Checked out the GoldDigger at the 2011 hamb drags...looking forward to seeing it again!

Due to circumstances I am having to cancel my plans to come to the races.
However I have my reservation# at the holiday inn for fri/sat, nonsmoking, 2 queen beds. I called HIJ and spoke with Katie. All she needs is the new contact info to update the reservation.

I am going to try to get my car ready for next year. Is there any chance someone can live stream parts of the event?

 

Sad to say no Father Son racing this year. Kentucky is too far away.

 

that's funny, KY is my 1/2 way point.
