Great weather, and turn out of buyers & sellers. Got a 50's Merc AM radio for $1. First pics are of a '54 Ford with Chevy V8 - I have one For Sale here. Enjoy:
I couldn't believe that drop tank didn't sell ... at least he still had it at noon. I went by myself, on a mission, but the wagons, electric scooters and socialites blocking the aisle sorta got to me today ... I would bought the f-100 dropped axle, spring, disc set-up but getting it out to the parking lot was gonna be a pure PIA ... the promoters need to work on that .... but, other than that it was a good day LOL Thanks for the pics.
there were some young guys around that had a flatbed wheeled cart for hauling parts. but, the organizers need to have signs for people to know that help to haul parts is available, and how to contact them.
Thought I'd make it out but then my mother-in-law fell and needed stitches, my wife needed to go check up on her so I got kid duty today but not with enough time to bring her along.
Yep it was a good meet. I scored a new pair of spider hub caps for cheap. Tried to make a deal on a 51 Mercury but we could not agree on a fair price. That was the good. My van blow a power steering hose on my way back home, towing covered the first 100 miles and the extra 53 cost me 583. OUCH!!!!
THANKS EVERY ONE ......it was over the the top again.. We appreciate all your input and will address the challenges for SATURDAY April 26th 2014 Yes it will be on a Saturday .. set up on Friday night ...you heard about hear first on the HAMB .... (it would of been on your local TV news had our attorney not beaten a last minute Federal court order to close the swap meet down...theres an ugly side to operating an old time swap meet...but we hang in there) Thanks again guys and gals .. "in rust we trust" and now next year you won't have to skip church on Sunday in 2014 to attend our April and August 2014 swap meets...... we wil try to have pics posted on our face book page after we unload trailers and I get a long awaited shower
I see like 30 things I need in the pictures....and about 100 things I don't but probably would have bought! Well there is always next year... Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
here was the gem of the swap as far as I was concerned...1968 Hydroflite wood decker. Flatbottom style top on a hydro hull. VERY rare boat.
I love and hate swap meets because I want everything, even if I don't need it. I just want to have it haha Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I got a few deals on stuff I needed. Only took a few photos of a Buick coupe I liked and an amazing 1934 Chevy PU, bone stock, never touched, running and driving. But a very stiff asking price of $22500
