Customs What are the top 20 best custom shoe boxs out there.

Brian Bass' '49 coupe has a real badass vibe to it. Not a lot of shoeboxes out there with an attitude like this one.

This is just me, but anything with painted or powered coated bumpers isn't a good thing.. For me it's just wrong

 

Seriously?? Those are not powder coated or painted bumpers. Those are called rolled pans. The car was built between 1958 and 1962.

And for me, cars who's rocker panels that sit on the ground and look like the suspension broke isn't a good thing, THAT is just wrong....just like basically stock bodied cars that claim to be customized..

 

I dont care what its called or when it was around,its still shit.My opinion,get over it.As for my ride sitting on the rockers,it doesnt,it never has.And my ride is a mild custom,done with restraint.Not an over done,tasteless car that makes you wonder what the hell it started off as.

Yeah, the Connecticut Yankee is shit...I think you'd be in the vast minority and it frankly makes you sound stupid....your statement was wrong, period. They are not bumpers.

I really like the less is more approach. This Convert photo I hyjacked off this sight. It's close to the Roger Cunningham 50 that I like so well. The Green 51 is my current almost daily driver.
Again I took the less is more by just doing minor mods. I really wanted to section it during the body work stage but I also wanted to get it done. Maybe next time around. Not shure if this is the kind of insperation your looking for but they work for me.

Yup. Lil Bat rules. I saw some build pictures with Bill Hines using 1/2 conduit for the fins. Incredible the way it turned out

That car is uglier than hell! Those roll pans are EXACTLY why it looks like hell...reguardless when it was built.

 

When it comes to shoeboxes I pretty much dig em all !
