Cleaning Hubcaps

    I just acquired a hubcap from a mid 60's Chevrolet truck. It is loaded with grime dirt and oil gunk. I don't quite know how to clean it with out destroying the polish on it. Any suggestions?
     
  2. I use Simple Green. Do NOT use a scouring pad.

    put it in the dish washer
