Well I got the front end to the house and already sold the stock steel front end. Worked out real good. Started working on the other frame rail and my compressor took a crap. Looks like the motor shit out. I hope to get it back up tonight so I can keep working on things.

My dad had a '50 Stude back in the late 50's, his boss bought it for him and financed it...$25 bucks a month I think but purchase price was $125. Good old days. The PO fitted a headlight in the middle of the grille so it was a 3-beamer.

Well looks like I am going to have to make some adjustments to the frame. The original middle crossmember is going to create a issue with the drive line. So I am going to move it forward about 10 inches and open up the center to make a drive shaft safety loop. I am then going to modify the mount for the trans to come off it. Right now the existing mount and the radius rod brackets will end up sharing the same spot. Damn should have made more measurements before I bought the radius rods.

Underway in the Arctic onboard my new ship USCGC Polar Star. I should be home in a couple weeks. when I get home I am hoping to finish up the frame and hopefully get the body back on it. Got U/W in middle of June so missing most of the car show season.

Well I got more work done on the safety loop. Moved a existing cross member forwards and added the loop.
