Nsra nats 2013

Guy's we missed it! Why couldn't the Nats have been this week? The weather has been in around 80 degrees and sunny all week. They are even calling for record low temps this weekend. The extended forecast for Wednesday and Thursday is for low to mid eighties.

 

still not to bad.... got a friend up there on work,says its great weather.so will next week.

 

Drove to 73 Tulsa and 74 Memphis, then have not been back since. I had my registration form ready for this year when my family informed me I was driving them to Disneyworld before school starts. So I guess I'll just honk and wave as I go by on I65

Anyone have suggestions for hotel? Have truck and trailer and have never been. So don't know where to start other than Its a little late for booking anything close.

 

with a trailer, close is a big parking problem, i stay out on i264 to the north, lots of hotels have bigger parking lots and are trailer friendly, it only a 20 min to the nats.

 

look for motels on PHILLIPS LANE,THATS RIGHT IN FRONT OF FAIRGROUNDS.almost always some empty rooms .also look for motels on Crittenden(sp),just to the side of FG. trailer parking at cardinal stadium. I think i'm right about that. good luck brother

 

There are plenty of motels off I 64 exit 15. Bruce where do you plan on setting up?

well, going with a group, so well how about here, or there or over there. I have in the past set up along the fence going to the swap meet. I'll be in the el Camino. shouldn't be hard to find. stop in.

arrived today at 3.30pm (monday) got the car unloaded and the crates of stuff, looks like most vendor spaces are sold and looks like a good selection of the same

Thanks rd, we've been making the journey for years now. We'll be in a buddy's 46 Divco (Helms Bakery bread truck) this year and yep it goes home loaded lol.

 

Just got word from my club brother that we got our spot this morning! It's on!!!

 

On the way, weather looks like its not 100 for a change.
