I've got my "MR 800" coupe and A sedan project that should be done in the spring but when you find them you have to buy them... 31 coupe body that needs no patches, has new deck lid and title and a fair price.. My wife says I'm crazy cause I don't need it now.. I will sell one of my current A's when I get the sedan done but thought I had to buy it.. What do you guys think?? Buy it now or wait till you really need it...
I always buy when I can. I was without anything for a short time and found some Model T parts...Bought a '27 cowl, no rust...then a Coupe body, also '27. Wait til you really need it? What makes you think it'll be there??? Better get it and put it where you can say, "Ohhh, I think I have one in stock!"
I would buy it, and set it aside, worse case you cant get to it sell it and consider it an investment.
Congrats on the purchase. Like you need another project! I bought his `39 Tudor Deluxe two weeks ago and almost took that Model A body home as well. Glad it went to a good home.
I'm currently in the "Fuck, I'm gonna get rid of some of these cars" mind set. Well, I'm kind of coming out of it since I now got my coupe running & not riding my bike to work anymore. After playing "Musical 4-Banger" with 3 motors got tiring, I jumped to the 28rpu to start driving that, got it running but hit a roadblock with that, "Shit, I got to change the cam." Back to "Musical 4-Banger". And, 2 more p/u & my 68 chevelle I put in a few minutes inbetween. Alot of Dick'g Around. All that said, go buy it, I would. We're a bunch of sick Fucks like that.
Looks like a real nice body. I'm with you and the others on not passing it up. Put it away until its time comes and if you decide you don't want it later it would be a quick sell. Congrats.

You definetly made the right decision. I would not turn that down either...you can always place it in the corner until you're ready to start another build.
Iv found that when you really need something that’s hard to find or old its never around and if it is its way more than the last one you passed on. Most women don’t get it … that this stuff don’t grow on trees for free. Its very nice lookin btw .... waaay better than mine
