Can anyone recommend a car transport service company they trust?... My brother wants to ship a car from Boise, Idaho to Long island NYC... Any info would be appreciated.
    Thank you.

Just don't use National Car Transporters, or Xpress Auto transport. Bad news!

I recently had good luck with "Curves Ahead" transport (800.869.4140). They DID do what they said they CAN do. Avoid the 'brokers'.

  6. Noel,

Reliable Carriers has a well deserved reputation for a multi car carrier
    that handles cars with care.

You might try doing a keyword search here on the HAMB using
' transport ' or ' haul ' to see if someone is headed that direction
    with an empty trailer.

RacinmanRick here on the HAMB cell# 864.324.1571. Used him once and when he couldnt take care of me due to time constraints, helped me find another guy. I fully recommend him!!

And don't even consider using Universal Transport out of Florida (myuniversaltransport.com). BUT, chances are, no matter what carrier you contract with, the job will still be sub-contracted out to another carrier, and even relayed from one carrier to another, like the pony express of old mail delivery. I've had 4 cars transported, and this is how they all have done business. There are some "small" transporters that take a job, and do it themselves, but that costs more from my experience. Again, just don't use Universal Transport. Butch/56sedandelivery.

LMAO! You probably can get JJ:rolleyes: to ship it, but only if you are not worried about it getting smashed. Or you can go with Chris and Robbie. They're logistic specialists!!!

I used Reliable to have a car hauled from IL. to AZ. They were great. Picked up on time and delivered on time. Great to deal with.

    Reliable. Hands down.

If your car is on the bottom, they have protective sheets between the two levels of cars that prevent fluid leaks from getting on the cars below.

They communicate exceptionally well. You always have the drivers phone number and they have yours.

They are batting 1000 in my book.

Craig at Rock Automotive of Albion Indiana. Brought a 36 Ford to me near Chicago from Oregon last summer for $800. Very dependable, communicated and arrived on time. I'm about ready to use him again. 260 415-5826. Tell him I recommended him.....Tim Carlig
