I saw a photo of a (as I recall it) 55 Nomad and it was probably chopped as all the glass was out of the car. It had some custom rear lenses, may be from an early/mid 50,s Lincoln or Mercury. I don't have a clue of where I saw them, might be here on the Hamb. The more I think of it, the more I want to see it again, there's a 55 150 wagon in my shop that could use the same treatment. Any guys out here that can help me out??? PLEASE.

Thank's Arkiehotrods, sorry but it's not that one, though it's cool. I first thought of using the Chrysler bird mouth but want something else. The one I saw had the top of the lenses kinda "open".
Thank's for taking the time to answer.

I saw this one at the San Jose auto rama. I think it's still around somewhere.

Huereka!! I found it in the latest Gasoline Magazine. I simply love the look. The Photo should be taken at the tattoo Convention in Long Beach. I have no clue of the owner etc. Looks like a fairly big chopjob been done, looking at the angle of the rear lid. Any info from my fellow Hambers? BTW it might be a 56.

Those lenses are 1955 Lincoln Capri. Reproductions can be purchased at www.markiiparts.com They aren't cheap..... The pot metal frames are next to impossible to find. Took me 3 years to find good restorable ones for a future Merc project.

  17. That rules!

I am bad with names but that guy is on Instagram and has a million pictures of the build on that. I can't remember his handle on there, but maybe someone else does?
