    The hood:
I wanted to do a full hood but with a 1932 frame the hood needed to be 3" longer. I opted to make a one piece top, out of .0625 3003 aluminum and lengthen the stock 1929 hood sides.

The bead at the bottom of the hoodsides were extended also but I don't have any pics

Some more primer and sanding and the hoodsides will be ready for paint. BTW, getting those hoodsides perfect took forever.

The top might get louvers, depending on how hot that engine compartment gets.

  6. Have I ever told you how amazed I am by your skills? I really hope you keep this one. I'm sure it will be just as good as the Coupe and the Shoebox.

Very nice and Art would be proud of you saving this one. No need to apologize for the Chevy motor as they are very traditional, starting in 1955. Have you seen Art's 34 roadster?

I think when Henry built the 32 frame he did it knowing guys would put 28/29 bodies on it. Nice!

I don't have a blog, my facebook and instagram has some pics but thats it.

Some rear mount Stewart Warner gauges for the Auburn dash. I still need two 2 5/8" gauges if anybody wants to sell some.

  20. Looks great. You will not regret that T-5. I have one behind the 283 in my truck and I love it.

I think you would be as reliable with a flathead and
A 3speed,but its not my build so do what you want

    I think it a great combo 265 / T5

    I think i want a 265 or '57 283, too .cause they are cool.

What do you do as for steering box?

28-29 ford highboys are the best looking Hot Rods on the road. Your build is killer. This view is timeless, can't wait to see more.
