    And so it begins...

It's already here... The 2013 KKOA Leadsled Spectacular is finally here. Yes, I may be a bit over excited about it but lets look at why. 1600+ cars, an emphasis on traditional kustoms and hot rods, the drags, legendary builders, on site custom jobs being done by legends, my booth (okay so maybe that's a 2nd tier item), it's going to be a fantastic weekend.

The show technically started Thursday, this blog post from a couple of days ago will give you a rough schedule and some of the important locations on google maps to help you find your way there. So yesterday a bunch of the vendors showed up and claimed our spots in the park. A few early comers to the show were already there and hanging out, here's a few photos of their rides.

I didn't shoot much in the park on Thursday, only a handful out at Bright Built Hot Rods at their Open House, here they are for ya!

So any recomendations for spectator parking? Just side streets around the park?
First time for me and only have a few hours.

    Thanks

The easiest is probably to park in the Bicentennial Center parking lot on the east side of the park. There is a walk bridge from that lot to the park.

I would try the parking lots to the east of the park. Between the Bi-Centennial Center and the water park.

  11. Thanks for the pics, on my bucket list!

Great coverage, thanks. Can you list the HOF inductees for us? Sure hoping Ray Erickson got in.

  13. That Metropolitan made me spit coffee all over my computer,,that is ridiculous. the owner doesn't know it he wants a hot rod or a custom.

I like the rest of the cars,,good coverage.HRP

You missed the pinup contest... I could only stay a minute, too many cars to see, too many people stopping by my booth when I wasn't there.
