Spider Center Caps

Hey all...Just picked up a 55 Buick.. More Pics to come.. Gonna lower it 3inches.. and new carpet, Fresh tune up.. and Drive.... My Question here Today Is... Has anyone used the Spider center caps on a Buick around this year.. I'd like to go semi gloss Black wheels.. Beauty rings and Spider Center Caps... Any help would be great...Also a link to a set that would fit my Buick would be very helpful.. I can only find them for Chevy / Fords.... P.s. The rims are the stock Orgl ... I've never Measured wheels for center caps... Thanks All..

Thanks...I looked at them on ebay...but I don't wanna get the wrong set.. I believe I have a 5 by 5 pattern...Buick... I only see chevy and ford... Is a chevy...5 by 5 the same...??

Dude, 5x5 is !5x5! Yes, Chevy as well as Big Car GM's. Measure your hole spacing. Next time ask a vendor questions and always check high level feedback as well.

 

4-LUG Measure center to center of two holes directly across from each other.
5-LUG Measure from the center on one hole to the BACK of the third hole.This is the easiest way to estimate a 5-lug bolt circle.
You can also measure from the CENTER of one hole to the CENTER of the third hole using 1.05 multiplier to find your bolt circle.

6-LUG Measure center to center of two holes directly across from each other.
8-LUG Measure center to center of two holes directly across from each other.

If this had lancer caps.. I'd keep them.. But.. these are just not my cup O Tea.. I'll keep an eye out for ya..

 

...dude you had multiple offers to buy the wheel covers, sell them to get what you want. Or think about what you can add to them to make them cool, flippers bullets...

I'm stickin with the Stock caps.. after looking at the rim ..they are ugly.. and wont look good with the spiders... wrong shape.. Keepin It Real... Real Low

check with Mooneyes..they have them.. I was going to get them for my 53 Pontiac which is also 5 x 5

 

Maybe you could just do the beauty rings and add chrome lugnuts?

 

Rather than actual Spider caps, I opted for push through domes and chrome lugs. I wasn't ever sure about screwing the top part to the bottom plate with spider caps. Gets nearly the same look.....

Good choice .
I had some spider caps and 2 of them , the center bullit fell off .
I went with the push through bullits and bullit lugs
Cleaner look and no problems .
