I love seeing people build hot rods with 460s. I got one in my 35 Plymouth and love it, get a aluminum intake and heads and shave some weight off the front.

How'd you manage that? With an angle grinder?

I got the tips of my fingers with a stationary belt sander once. It's an interesting way to lose skin for sure!

Your frame looks to be coming along nicely.

Yeah lost grip on angle grinder..frame is a pain in the ass...I think some body filler will be in order to smooth it out and fill some pitted sections...

Yeah, I'm going to be in the same boat with my frame. It's 80 year old steel, it needs a little bit of foundation before its closeup ;)

Sometime you might check out a real clean black two-door at the Eliot, ME. end of the month Sat. night cruise. 460 Ford powered, built by an Eliot bodyman named Stan Nashwinter. His work is outstanding. The cruise is at the Rte 236 plaza around 5 pm.
The club has a 460 listed in their classifieds: http://rodbarons.com/?page_id=14
