'40 ford cab wood spacer

    Does anybody have pattern for the cab wood spacer's for a '40 ford truck?

  4. $118 is fair price,I tried to make some for my 38 and they have compound angles which makes them a real Bitch too make.

    The ones from Northern Classic Trucks are made just like the originals with the fingerjoints. They are awesome and fit like they should.

    Believe me; reproducing that mounting block set takes above average woodworking skills.
    To say nothing of the special cutters used during production.

    Those blocks are part of the alignment of the body to frame.
    I attempted to reproduce a set for my '41 Stake Bed; but finally purchased them.

    ask this over on Fordbarn.com too. someone offered me some patterns years ago, but I lost them in a computer crash. I would like to carve out a set from UHMW or someting similar.

    mine is a 40 cab on a 40 frame, I think, just throwing together a beat up shop truck, LOL

    Sacramento Vintage has 'em... Mine fit perfect. Soak them in spar varnish, for some added protection.
