what kind of grill teeth are these?

anyone know what kind of teeth these are? wouldn't mind doing this treatment to my 49

possibly modified '54 chev. I think the corvette ones are smaller?

You can get a corvette repop grill for around $390 from Chevs of the 40's. Or you can think outside the box and make your own grill for around $100. I do like the grill by the way. I just could not afford it at the time.

I think they are 50 pontiac.

Here is a pic of my friends 49 with 54 teeth, unfortunately he only go to mock it up and not actually do it because he sold it before he could actually do it.

 

The Pontiac grilles are one piece and you can't unbolt the teeth. Definitely '54 Chevy teeth.

 

after looking at mine I was thinking that too just remove the center section

they are 3 sections .. here's the center section removed

 

A google image search would have got you the answer.

 

That drawer pull grill is pretty creative- I mistook it for a '50 merc grill at first!

On a side note, '53 Chevy teeth will also work.
(The vertical '49 lower bars are not removable, so I started with a '50 grille.)
