    Can I use a62 chev pass. bell to a s10 5 speed?

  2. I say yes. The tranny to bellhousing bolt spacing is the same, but the holes in the tranny are metric and must be opened up slightly. The '62 flywheel and throwout bearing should also work. The only difference will be in the clutch disc, IF the spline count is not the same.

The other thing to look out for is crossmember location.

Isn't there also an issue with input shaft length? Thought I read where you could either trim the input shaft slightly, or there is an adapter/spacer available.

    Thank you El Caballo.
It's such a good feeling to have remembered something correctly.
