Tighten your seat belts and hold on. The Rons Hobby Shop Special is going to make its fastest pass so far. The run is taking place at the Loring Timing Associations meet held in Limestone Maine. The supercharged gas burning 295 cube Flathead in the measured mile runs 172.661 MPH setting a new record.

When he shut it down at the end I swear it sounded like a jet plane landing, tire squeal included. Are the rules the same there as for Bonneville? Thanks for posting.

Rulebooks for SCTA [El Mo/Bonneville], ECTA [Wilmington], and LTA [Loring] are very similar but with subtle differences.

Hi Ed, yes I figured out what was wrong, everything will be good to go for September. I'm working on the front end I want to reduce the scrub radius that should help the handling a bit.
