    I have also fitted and welded the pipe frame in the car .This is all out of sight.

    Yeah a little custom bracket holding an old light housing
    inside the window frame seems much cleaner.

  10. Good stuff MercuryMitch. Love the finish on exh. bracketry & interior concept is something else- really cool. I'm in for what's been suggested on the tailight, and LED would probably get it done. Man this car would look good as a custom.

    Sorry folks ,this thread is more about learning for me and others.I realise it is not a belly button car,i am building it my way and to suit all our rules and regulations over here.You folks in the USA don't appear to have any rules at all(very lucky)

    Finally got the other bonnet side repaired,had to remove 3 bars and straighten them and adjust some of the grill bars to even them up.

    on page one when you said you had a wheel and were going to cut all the rusty parts off and replace. I was thinking, you mean throw the entire thing in the trash. amazing work to bring that back to life.

    Finally getting a bit more done .Made my first panel from ally and fitted it to the frame,gaps came up nice and turned out ok.

    I met Gene at a metal working course at Castlemaine last month,i think I taught him a couple of things,he taught me a lot more
