Okay I asked 32 vs. 33/34 question so let me ask this and you know what I like by my avatar. And doesn't have to be either of these (2/3) years.

    Do you prefer?

    Hiboy

    Fullfenderd.

channeled with spare tire ring fenders up front, and bobbed rears....and if it is real old school 33/4, then a 32 shell sectioned.... spring ahead front suspension...and some chrome nerf bars...and roll and pleat.

pretty much covers it for me

My Mom asked me that same question when I brought the smashing Tania Hartwig home from high school.
Not the fenders question, the "What do you care what others think?" one. That one.

But Mom pitched a fit when I sold my Deuce fenders to buy a 4-jugger and Potvin Eliminater cam...
What did I care what SHE thought?

Just thought it to be interesting as were all my pevious question (s). I like public opinion and peer opinion as much as the next guy. Something wrong with that?

Kind of  about why you would ask.

Depends on the car's purpose in life and what shape it was in when it came to me. If your car hit my driveway wearing savable fenders and no chop, that would be it's final shape, a cool, dropped mild hot rod coupe. If it came to me in the same condition with a chop, a bit more radical. If it came to me a gutted floorless hulk of a body and frame, hell, it's be a rough as a cob, nasty, fender less ho trod sure as the day it was born. I like them all.

  9. fenderless 32 would be east coast style 33/34 fenderless hi-boy

  10. Fenders? We don't need no stinking fenders! :D

I like them both. But building a channeled high boy because I didn't have good steel fenders. Plus I wanted to do as little as possible, lack of talent and money :)

When I bought my old truck there was only the cab, frame and a grille shell. At the same swap meet I bought a pair of nice Guide Head Lights. Other than needing a short pick up bed, I can't think of any reason I would need anymore sheet metal to work on !!! It's already dropped 5" over the frame............................ Jeff

Nothing against no-nonsense open wheel cars, but if I had a car with beautiful curved fenders from the 30s, there's no way I would put them on a shelf.

Throw the fenders away, bob the frame rails, channel it 6", and bolt a chopped deuce grill on it.

How about only 1 fender. That way you can have both according to which side you look at.
