Hello all my name is Lucas Im from California. I have joined this group to hopefully learn sum and give advise on things i know. I am currently restoring a 1939 pontiac, kinda going rat rod. Finished my wifes 1967 mustang about 2 years ago.... Any way just saying hi and ty for the welcome.
Lucas, welcome from Kansas City...however this is not a r*trod site. Careful using the phrase "...restoring my '39" and then use "...going rat rod". Just my thoughts but which way are you going?
Welcome! .....There should not be any Ratrods here they are traditional Hotrods, ratrods get snipped out pretty quick, some people cant tell them apart so there is alot of confusion. Some easy ways to tell... 1) spiderwebs/skulls everywhere 2) Beer tap handle shifters 3) rubber rats figures 4) non-Hotrod Rake (dropped to the floor) 5) fat, pale tattoo'd women with to much lip stick on hang around them Should not see any of that here...
Thats a handy little tool you got there saves alot of time weeding out the riff raff! Ryan should just post this at the top of the main page.

Hey there Lucas. welcome to the HAMB. Traditional hot rods are not the same thing as r#t rods. There are plenty of examples of what this site is about on many of the threads on the main message board, so you can easily see what everyone here is on about. Of course, you can build your car any way you want - it's your car, your bucks and you only have to please yourself with it. If you want folks on here to celebrate your car with you, just drop the rat term, and avoid all the crap that goes with that, that's all. If not, good luck anyway.
