Hello: We are planning to attend the Nationals in Louisville for the first time. Any advice on how to best take in the event, (new hip, but 2 very old knees!), so I have to make the most of my time. Also would like to find some activities for my wife. Questions: Does HAMB have a setup there? Is admission a daily purchase or can advance tickets be had? Where can I get an exhibitor/vendor list and map? Thank for the help! Henry
it will be cheaper to "register" your car.cheaper and you get 2 passes.if you can be there on Thursday.not as many people in the building where the new vendor are.easier to move around. you can rent a scooter if your knees are bothering you.if you want to see the most cars bring a chair and be there VERY early in the a.m. and watch the cars come in the gate,and in the after noon watch em leave.lots of walking no matter what.also get on one of the trollies and ride it around for a while,change sides,same cars different view.have fun and enjoy.there is a ladies world in the big building,they also have a bus that runs to a nearby mall. also go over and do a intro before somebody yells.

I want to go Thursday evening and leave Saturday afternoon. I've monkeyed around and not gotten a hotel though. JH
I just found a hotel this Sunday for the Nats, so they are still out there. Even some of the prime hotels on Phillips (that's the street right outside the fairgrounds for anyone new) had rooms. They aren't cheap, but it isn't like the old days when the whole town would be booked up solid.
I'll be there Wednesday eve to Saturday eve. Going with Pops and a few buddies. We just found a room on Phillips Ave, hoping to witness some good burnouts at night.

My father and I will be driving our trucks (my 1955 f100 and Dad's 1971 F100). This will be the first time I have taken a vehicle to the Nats. Looking forward to the fun.
