Event Coverage 2013 Ventura Nationals

So with Labor Day weekend less the two months away it's time to get things spinning. There have been some changes to this years show and we are beyond excited to share them with you. We will be having a weekend full of great events bands and art. And let's not forget the reliability run on Sunday.

Friday Night:
We will be hosting our annual Friday Night art show preparty in downtown Ventura this year. The city has been VERY cooperative and will be blocking parking downtown for cars this year.

Saturday:
Enjoy the 11th annual Ventura Nationals at the Ventura county fairgrounds. This WILL be a one day event Saturday only in the fairgrounds this year with Sundays fairgrounds event being replaced with the 2nd annual reliability run.

Saturday Night:
Enjoy beautiful downtown Ventura with bands and event specials throughout the downtown district. We will be hosting a movie screening in the public park on Main Street Saturday evening.

Sunday:
Join us on our second annual reliability run up and around the scenic lake casitas. This is roughly a 30 mile loop that takes you the through the hills of Ventura and back down Ventura Avenue where the run will end a Noble Fabrications open house.

Here is an overview of Sundays reliability run. Looking forwarding to seeing all of you out there cruising with us on Sunday!!! This is about a 40 mile loop that has a few elevation climbs and winds around the lake. We will only be on the freeway about 5-6 miles the rest will either be along the ocean,through the hills, or around the lake.

One of the 2 or 3 shows a year I refuse to miss.

Always an outstanding event.

Anyone who has been already knows.

Anyone who hasn't is missing one of the top events in So Cal.

Hell yes! I'll be there! Had such a good time last year and the Sunday cruise was flatout bitchin. As stated before one of the "don't miss" shows of the year.

 

Does the cruise start at the fairgrounds?

 

For the cruise we will all gather at plaza park in Ventura. Detailed maps are on the works and will be available Saturday at the show with all necessary info and details on the route.

Here's my Ventura...

 

It's everything I like in a great car show - happy people, perfect/not perfect cars, rad bikes, fun bands, California girls, nice drive, cools temps, nice town, creativity galore, all the best vendors, famous artists..plus BOMONSTER.

 

Two weeks until the fun starts.

 

Sunday fun day.

 

We are getting close. A lot of last minute late night hustling on cars and bikes getting them ready for the show. Are you ready?

The author of this fine book as well as the remaining local bad asses who where pioneers in Ventura county hot rodding will be at Fridays art show as well as the show on Saturday. Take some time out of the weekend to let these guys bend your ear and share with you how it really was.

I don't remember hearing if it was a GO.

The show is 100% a go. We are meeting in plaza park SUNDAY for the reliability run which is absolutely a go also. No rumors nothing has changed same time same place.

 

Can't wait, driving in this year. What's the haps for Sat night? Kev?
