Saturday, September 21, 2013 Racers Reunion Banquet Irving, TX More info at www.RadiusNation.net This year we celebrate the talent of Frank Kurtis and beauty of the Kurtis-Kraft cars. Special guest will include Frank's son, Arlen Kurtis and his wife Carol, from Bakersfield, CA. Ed Justice Jr. of the Justice Brothers will be presenting the Kurtis-Kraft Story. There will be a display of vintage race cars featuring a variety of Kurtis-Kraft cars. Similar to the previous years there will be activities starting at 2:00 pm and the dinner and presentations at 6:00 pm. Also on the agenda for 2013 is The Journeyman, a look back at a group of drivers who were hard chargers and got results on the track. We will learn about the careers of Buddy Cagle, Jim McElreath, Bill White and Gordon Woolley. Each of these guys are scheduled to be at the event. The very talented driver turned author, Buzz Rose and historian Kevin Triplett will be sharing stories about The Journeyman. Last year's event was really special with Al Unser and Jim Hall present and telling stories about their days racing with honoree Johnny Rutherford. Tickets are $30 and go on sale July 15th.
