Those seats bring a little money these days, someone brought me a set to install reproduction covers and foam that looked like it they came from a junkyard car like this but were too rusty to work with.

You need a two-speed rear or a Brownie and that Buick-powered Ford would really go.

growing up we used to visit my uncle's farm back in the sixties, that had a junkyard/pig yard together, he had many cars and trucks and lots of hogs that used the old cars for shelter... made searching for parts interesting trying to avoid the slop...

I wonder what flattened that truck that barn find posted. Heavy snow? Rolled off a cliff? Crazy.

Me too. Maybe a combination? It is in Governor Basin in the Colorado San Juans. The roads are trecherous enough around there that roll-offs are common. Snow's heavy, too at that elevation. Rocks could have bashed in the stouter parts of the cab and snow finished it off after it sat winter after winter. There are no axles under it. They could have been robbed for soem other utilitarian purpose. Or the ambulance may have been drug there as a shelter or toolshed.

  21. It was. Read my post @ #7171.

  22. thats a small base carter WCFB carb. I used to get them and put then on Y block fords. it will dolt on to a teapot intake. It looks like a good engine swap. We have a dump truck the same body style. Someone Took out the flathead six & swapped in a Y block292. There isnt a much clearance as you have. They had to use a block off adapter and hoses to remote mount the oil filter on our,s. I would rather have the nail head.
