Vintage shots from days gone by!

For people who appreciate old cars, photos like the one above are like the proverbial traffic accident drive-by: you don't want to see it, but you can't look away....

What's sad about these scenes is that the cars usually were not parted out ... the engines and transmissions were pulled and the rest crushed.

The Honduras Maroon color was used on lots of cars from 59 thru 64 but had different names. I'll agree that it was my favorite color on a 62 Bel Air two door hardtop though.

Walpolla... I don't think that's Madeline Castle, I googled her name and it doesn't look like the same girl. There were a lot of great pic's of Madeline, though...

I have wanted one of these flying cars since I was in the third grade. The teacher said we would all be flying one by the year 2000. I haven't seen any on my block.

 

And James Brolin left her for Barbra Steisand. IDIOT!

 

Isn't this the XP-98, predecessor to the production Vega?

 

I am guessing, these are being made somewhere in the UK,
anyone know for sure?

 

It look's to me to be 2 different girls, Madeline is the one in the top picture. It don't really matter what her name is, she's pretty damn hot in my opinion!
