'52 Ford F1, I need a part photo.

I could use a little help from a F1 owner. Can you attach a photo of an installed hood support device that is attached to the firewall? The support has 2 springs & a pin that goes into the hood. Attached to the firewall with 2 bolts. I took this truck apart a year ago & forgot how these supports were positioned.

Is there a procedure to putting the hood back on the truck? It looks like the hinges get installed first and then the supports.

Your correct, hinges first with the 3 bolts going into the cowl. As for the supports/springs they bolt on the firewall a few inches in and then pin to the hood.

 

Anyone have a photo of how these are positioned?
