OK, what is this one? At first glance I thought I knew, headlight bar looked right but the hood is wrong for a Chevy and the suicide doors are wrong for Ford and Chevy. I was thinking '32, is that wrong?

    the ones in the foreground,,,
the valve covers are not 348 or 409 style,
    neither are the ex manifolds..
    small blocks for sure..
however, i do see one 348-409 way in the back

This tourist trap existed on South Crater Rd in Petersburg, VA. It was abandoned for most of my childhood and torn down to build a Shoney's Big Boy in about 1967. I was always curious about it.

My first build at 14 in 1964 !954 Merc Monteray, started out as a real rust bucket.

Poor Man's Goat, a lot of my buddies had GTOs, i couldn't afford one so picked up a used stripped down Tempest from a friend at a dealership. Put in a Bonneville 400 because of the torque, T-10, Chevelle 12 bold, etc, etc, a real sleeper. Beat all the Goats and Chevelles in a 5 town area. Loved that car, also owned a 40 Olds 66 model at the time.

  26. Maybe it's Bailey "used to be" Quarters, now Bailey Dollars in this pic - hundreds and hundreds of dollars. :)
