I've got a friend with the same model as yours, it was his Dads old hot rod from the 60s. Both of us will be watching this build. Good find and you will be happy with it, they are nice cars.

"AWESOME" car and In fantastic shape, that car will haul ass with a 340 6 pack, and with a 4 speed should be fun too, this should be a great build.

Congrats! Nice score! The old Gentleman that I bought my '34 Ford 5-window from has 2 of those, nice cars, and won't even consider selling one of them. Would love to get my hands on one of them!

Great find. Makes me jealous. I am working on a 33 Plymouth coupe with a fellow HAMB member. His car was about 6 cut up pieces sitting in a field and I believe moparron426 originally found the car for him. The top had long since disappeared. We are making progress. You can search thread for "Uncle Ricks 33 Plymouth" and see what we are doing.
If you ever come across a steel 33 grille shell in repairable or usable shape, he may be interested.
Have fun with your build. It will definitely be a great ride.

Great looking MoPar, you have a good foundation to put together a very stylish coupe. lovin the 340 6 pac & running gear selection.

  16. THAT is a great find! Those early 30's plymouths are beautiful and they come with a little chop already!

  17. Hey, I'll be in Virginia Beach next week. I'd be happy to swing on by and take that junker off your hands! NICE CAR!

Love the way the grill looks on these. That subtle curve/point at the top of the grill is really nice!

driving down a back road and saw the front end of a 39 chevy sticking out of the barn and stopped to see if it was for sale. the old lady said she'd sell it. so went over to look at it and then saw the 33 behind it. so asked about it to. she said i'd sell it to. motor and trans was laying beside car looked like it was bad. but got both of them, the 33 and 39, that is a coupe to. still has straight 6 in it. did a little work to it and it starts up and runs. been sitting there since 1962 in the some spots. could not believe it. I almost fell down.
