This is my 63 1/2 Sprint clone. This thread is going to be a little out of order as far as the progress, but I'm going to try to keep it from being too chaotic .

I bought this car in Feb. 1996, and it's been a long project. I have not been working on it this entire time, the car sat for about 7 years while I was enjoying another car that I owned from 1999 to 2006. I will post pics as I sort them out, and try to keep them in order.

IMO can't go wrong with a HT round body falcon. one of my favorites. but I guess that's obvious.

That is my favorite year and body style of Falcons. Hope to see more.

This is the car that started it all for my love of falcons. I was 15, working at a gas station & this car came in for gas. 12 years later, I bought it. This pic was taken in aug. 1999, the day after I bought it.

Before that night, I wanted a 68 mustang fastback. As soon as saw it, I was hooked. Never wanted a mustang after that.

Anyway, I was working on the falcon all day, trying to get it ready for the engine to go in.

Factory red on black, Hipo 289/4spd. AZ rust free car. I've built several '64 and '65 Falcons over the decades, this will be the first one built with no compromises, exactly the way I want one.

I understand your love of 63 Falcon's. Here is a picture of my 63 Sprint. It will be on display at the Falcon Club National Convention next week in Tulsa

I feel the same way about your car, very cool. Maybe we could meet in the middle some day, just have to pick a drag strip halfway between us.

Got the engine compartment painted, and installed the motor & trans over the weekend. I'll have my new headers tomorrow, and I'm waiting on new lines for the Hilborn. I hope to have it running by the end of next week.

Very good post love that engine. What did you do to the rear ? I moved the bottom two links on my 4 link to the inside of the frame and made new torque boxes Im thinking about tubbing my Wagon but even if I don't by moving the links to the inside of the frame will make changing the rear tires much easier

Veach, I have caltrac bars & Calvert split mono leaf springs in the rear, and I moved them inside the frame rail. Also, I split the stock wheel house, and moved it all the way against the frame, and have a 28 X 9" M&H Racemasters on 15 X 7" torque thrust d's
